Chain Letters
A typical chain letter consists of a message that attempts to induce the recipient to make a number of copies of the letter and then pass them on to as many recipients as possible. Common methods used in chain letters include emotionally manipulative stories, get-rich-quick pyramid schemes, and the exploitation of superstition to threaten the recipient with bad luck or even physical violence or death if he or she “breaks the chain” and refuses to adhere to the conditions set out in the letter.
Some classic example of Chain letters(Email):

The evolution of Chain letters:
First, we received chain letters through traditional letters sent through the Post. But after the years, we started to receive chain letters through Emails and the 2 most recent medium are using WLM(windows live messenger) and facebook messaging service.
Example of Chain letter sent by WLM:

Example of Chain letter sent through facebook messaging service:

What’s missing? Chain letters through Twitter!
But perhaps in the coming days/weeks/months/years, we will see chain letters through Twitter.

Do you believe in chain letters? What do you
tell people who spam you messages/emails
about chain letters?
What do I do?

I used to receive chain letters only on hi5. It was something like a girl needing money and each time the message was sent, the girl would receive Rs 1 or whatever. It sucked and I deleted my hi5 account LOL!
But there are some useful and genuine kind of chain letters on Twitter like the breast cancer thing. Each time you tweet, a certain amount is genuinely donated to the association …
the chain letter tweet to Carrotmadman is very funny LOL
one thing i do whenever i saw on email or on FB is to delete them before reading the mail
think those people who send them on WLM are kinda weird mari mank role sa

I never open those chain mails, not even those from the President of Nigeria.
PS. Pass on the message to as many people as you can that for every comment here, Tushal gets a kick. :p
Must bomb their inbox! Stop Forward Stupid Mails!
Waiiii 50,000 + mails dan mo hotmail inbox
1 chance mo just use sa pu msn, vraiem ena dimun manz fess avk zot fwd mail…
who would send chain letters? only those who seriously need to get a life and ofc 99.9999% times, this is the area of expertise for girls
Now 1 thing which often pisses me off, suppose Tushal & me have almost the same contacts/friends. So if a mutual friend has sent us a chain letter, so other mutual friends will again send me the same letter. It’s kinda irritating… but the bottom line is that there seems noobs have eventually found a way to get themselves busy nowadays
