Need For Speed (NFS) is a series of racing video games by Electronic Arts, released on platforms including the personal computer, PlayStation, PS2, PS3, GameCube, Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation Portable, and various other gaming platforms. The games consist mainly of racing with various cars on various tracks, and to some extent, include police pursuits in races. Since Need for Speed: Underground, the series has integrated car body customization into gameplay.
The new Need for Speed, shit shift, seems to be a failure among my NFS lovers. Many top rated gamers gave a verdict of “Shift is destined for the trash”. Some of the responses of the gamers are:
You can’t compare Shift to GT, it’s like comparing crap to chocolate.
(GT means Grand Turismo)
What the hell. Cars past Tier 1 bounce uncontrollably and make the game LITERALLY Unplayable. As you get to Tier 4 or 5 cars cant even be driven at all.
Realistic Crashes? Yah ok, try again.
It’s honestly the most frusterating racing game I’ve ever played. They need to completely revamp the way the physics engine handles rebound and bound + the shocks.
NFS is either illegal racing or its not NFS

omg….wtf is this sheet,now seriosly….pls EA stop screw this game,where the fuck are cops neons under cars,audio stuff inside…what is this….why bugati and that cars…whi is all legal in this game,whre is street race….dont spend money on this crap ppl,if u want a good arcade game buy grid….leave this sheet
I’m glad i rented this, because its a piece of complete ass, the graphics are crap.

I could go on this this. I checked a lot of forums(gamers forums) and almost everyone is bad mouthing NFS shit shift. They even rated the Need for Speed shift as the worst ever Need for Speed. Another reason why they don’t seem to like Shift is because of the tracks racing only. The 2 best Need for Speed series set the “bar” too high with its open world, upgrades, and police chases.

Despite most wanted being “old” I still play that game. There is no NFS series after MW that is good enough.

- Need for Speed: Underground (2003)
- Need for Speed: Underground 2 (2004)
- Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005)
- Need for Speed: Carbon (2006)
- Need for Speed: ProStreet (2007)
- Need for Speed: Undercover (2008)
- Need for Speed: Shift (2009)
The only series that I have not played are V-Rally 2 and Motor City Online.
Need for Speed Underground 3 or Most Wanted 2 will be the only available ways for the NFS developers to be back on track.

SHIFT is complete B*ll$h!t. It is just a racing thingy that tries to pull it up to GT. I got so disgusted by it that I simply reinstalled NFS Most Wanted!
Most wanted is the best NFS out there. Shift tried to copy Grid Race driver but it failed terribly!
